Broken Samsung flip4

I bought a Samsung flip 4 phone on a Vodacom contract 6 months ago and the flip is broken due to a manufacturing issue as per the repair center in Tygervally Cape town, the phone has a crack on the outside so they won't repair the phone because of that as they say it's falls outside the warranty with the crack, how is it that a manufacturing issue cannot be fixed as that's not my fault, repair cost is R13. 000 which is out of this world, Samsung needs to fix my phone
