Beware SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 - Liquid damage through Air-con Vapor/Sweaty hands

Extremely dissatisfied and upset about Samsung galaxy S6. Only 9 months old. Read this before buying any Samsung Phone:

I will make it my daily task from here on in to inform people that Samsung phones get damaged by sweaty palms so much that it results in liquid damage to the mother board in the inside of the phone and that after only 9 months. Other possible motherboard liquid damage reasons as per Samsung/SmartLab damage: Aircon Vapor, Misty mornings, Humid days, rainy days as well as the infamous sweaty palms.

The phone suddenly starting giving error message that it's overheating. Submitted to Samsung Service centre/Smartlab

The following 3 stories was given to me by Samsung/Smartlab

1. Samsung/Smartlab informed me that repair cost will be R3900. After enquiring to any cost as it’s still under warranty, the person came back with an explanation that the mother board and charging port needs replacement on the phone as the phone had water damage and that is why it’s not working. - I informed this same person that the phone was working when we gave it in it was switching on and off, it was just saying temperature too high and also charging so how can the mother board be fried? She then asked that I hold on a minute and came back after a minute.

2. After coming back on line the person rep**** that there was physical damage on the charging port of the phone and that is the reason the motherboard needs to be replaced as well as the charging port. After telling her that it’s impossible and that the Samsung person at Menlyn verified that there was no physical damage on the phone. She yet again asked that I hold on.

3. The third time she claimed that the technicians informed her that the charging port had signs of corrosion so it was obviously water damage in the phoned and mother board needs to be replaced. Yet again I told her that it’s not acceptable as I’ve received 3 different stories now all different from each other yet the phone was working and charging when given in. Upon this she said I must lay a complaint if I don’t agree.

I've been a loyal Samsung customer since S1. My direct influence resulted in 9 family members getting Samsung Phones and staying with Samsung for years. I will ensure that they never buy Samsung Phones again and make it my daily mission to warn other people about Samsung Phones.
