Bad service

On the 30 November 2016, i booked my cellphone at Samsung 14th ave, and told me it would take 2 to 3 working days. After the days were done i phoned again to check how far the repairs are, when they informed me phone needs a part will take a week. Week went past and no word and contacted samsung headoffice where they gave me the warehouse managers email and i emailed him to ask about my phone. He did not respond. I contacted headoffice again of which they had another excuse and said the part is at 14 ave branch. This back and forth calls and follow ups have been going on for 54 days and till this day my phone has not been repaired. I have no option now but will have to seen legal actioned and have the media involved aswell. As this must be some sort of record for a phone in for repairs.

Ive received a quotation from Samsung 14 ave, after the complaint posted yesterday. Now they want to charge for a faulty battery. The phone went in for screen repair under warranty. And why only after 54 days we receive a quote, of which the complaint initially was with regards to the long wait for repair of which samsung stated they awaiting a part. This quote is utter nonsense and i refuse to pay it as , accourding to comsumer law, a quotation must be given within 1-3 days, if in actual fact another problem should be picked up. Battery was not faulty. Screen was at fault and phone was still under warranty. If this phone repair is not going to be sorted out with immediate effect, i will proceed with legal action aswell as media report.
