Bad Service

I took my J1 ce Neo Dual Sim in for repairs of the power button to The Grove Mall Samsung Walking Center on 2016-10-15. Service Order no: ********** 069.

The guy who booked it in said I can receive it the same day or on Monday depends if the part is in stock and how busy the technicians are.

I received a SMS the same day to inform me my phone is ready for collection no cost.

I went back and receive my phone. I opened the plastic and switched it on. As I try to switch it of again to put in my sim card the button were broken again...

I went immediately back and inform them about the work that wasn''''t done correctly and also about the scratches on the silver trimming that wasn''''t there. I know my phone and know in witch state I gave it in. They did make a comment on the in booking form about damage to the cover when it was booked in.

The guy said to my the owner is here and I can go and speak to him about the scratches and the bad service I received from Samsung.

He was willing to listen to my complaint and went and I presume it was the technician he called.

We went inside the Training room and I explained again everything to both of them. The technician interrupted me by saying: _quotYou broke it again..._quot in front of the store owner and he didn''''t even say a word to him... I then said who are you to say something like that to me and was very upset because I didn''''t broke the button ever. This is a default on the phone. He then said I pushed the button to hard and that''''s way it broke again, the only soldered it.

He then said he want''''s to show me that they are using a suction method to open the screen and no tools are used. How they open it got nothing to do with me the problem is that it wasn''''t done and I know for a fact the scratch marks weren''''t there.

The owner then said in his own words: _quotThis was only a quick fix. a New motherboard must be ordered to replace the broken power button_quot. He then went out and come back to inform me I must leave my phone again because there is no mother board in stock and it must be ordered. This will be done on Monday 2016-10-17 and later in the week I will receive my phone back.

This is highly unprofessional the way I was treated by the manager and staff of Samsung The Grove and the things that was said to me by the owner of the store and the Technician.

Why were the lady at reception and the guy who booked in my phone **** to me by saying they must have a look if there are parts available but only to hear a quick fix were done on my phone.

Why did The Grove Mall Samsung store only do a quick fix on my phone after they new what the problem was.

Who gave the technician the right to speak to me like that in front of the store owner and he didn''''t even gave a apology on his behalf.

Why wasn''''t my phone booked in again like it were done the first time. I insisted that I want proof that my phone were taken in again and a guy named Given just sign on the Service Order Sheet: _quotPhone in store_quot in his handwriting. No date or time written on the sheet (Got proof of that)

After I insisted on a proper proof I was told now it must be filled in by hand on a paper Pre -Registration Form also without any date or time, no signature nothing. (Got proof of that)

At 14:17 and 14:50 I received phone calls from the number +27 10 ********** just to inform me my phone was booked in again with reference number ********** 687.

Am I the only customer that''''s been treated by a accredited Samsung Walk in Center and been told how Quick fixes is done on a Phone with a Guarantee???

If i don''''t get any proper feedback from Samsung I will take this further.

The treatment, quality of work and workmanship and people s****s are totally unacceptable from a Samsung store.

Pieter van den Heever
