Bad experience from Samsung Authorised technicians

I had a very bad customer experience with one of Samsung Authorised technicians. I called Samsung to repair my refrigerator as it had stopped working. I was told that they will assign a technician to come through within 3 - 5 working days as the appliance (compressor) was still under warrantee. Indeed the technician came to access the fridge within 2 days, after the assessment he mentioned that the fridge has been opened already as some pipes were cut off. I explained to him that someone did come but did not touch the compressor which the technician also confirmed that the compressor was not temperred with an that samsung will cover. In his exact words, he told me that he will come back on Friday morning..(this was on a Wednsday by the way,) as the Thursday he will be in the southern surburbs and that Samsung will provide the Compressor for free and I will need to pay for the labour after they send me a quotation, which I agreed. Come Friday morning technician did not pitch, I grew impatient called Samusung Support around 1pm to find out what was the hold up. Sumsung then provided me with the Authorised dealer number, which I called and was informed that the technician was not going to come and fix my fridge as omeone had already worked on it and then when I tried to explain that their technician said to me that he will come and fix on Friday and even stated that Samsung will cover they dropped the phon on me. Mind you this is after waiting in the queue to their customer service for 30 minutes.

I then called Samsung back which as I expected told me the same thing that that someone worked on the appliance and that made the warrantee void. Which I totally understand and do not dispute. My issue here, which I've been going back and forth trying to explain to Samsung supervisors is not with the warrantee, but the fact that the technician who can to assess my fridge told me that he was coming to fix my fridge on Friday morning and that Samsung was going to provide me with a free compressor as the compressor was not tempered with. I waited on him till Friday of which had he told me the Wednesday that it is not covered and he is not coming back would have made another plan. They even did not have the courtesy to contact me the following day informing me that the technician is no longer coming. I had to use my airtime on the Friday afternoon to find out where he was only to be told that he is not going to come. I went a day and half without a fridge expecting someone who was not coming to come and ix the fridge. My question is why did this technician lie to me and give me false information when he verbally stated that he was going to come and Samsung was providing the compresor. I'm sure he is aware of the policies, why did he not tell me outright on the very same day that h wil not come and it will not be covered, or assuming he did not know the policies, why did he not say that he will check with his company and get back to me. Samsung still not answering these questions only saying no the fridge is not covered, which like I'm always repeating myself that I'm not concerned about their warrantee, I can get someone to [pay to fix my own fridge. My main issue is why the technician misrepresent and gave false promise and why was I not contacted that the technician was no longer coming despite the misrepresentation
