as per Vodacom samsung sells you broken phones as new
I bought a Samsung Z flip 6 from Vodacom on contract in April 2025. The phone has been for repairs 5 times already for the same problem. Even though I asked to change the phone I was advised by Vodacom that it is pass the pca date and that Samsung sells them repair phones so initially I was given a broken phone though my contract is for a new phone. I now have to send this in again as it has a new problem. So now I learn I should never buy a Samsung because they sell broken phones as new. Vodacom refuse to replace this broken phone they sold me as new. Where is the customer protection plan as i have a contract for a new phone.

01 Apr 2026, 10:33I received a call from Steven at Samsung yesterday. the phone unfortunately died as my battery went out. Apparently they can only help me when vodacom breaks my phone again and it must be after 3 months of trying to fix my phone. I asked Steven who holds the warrantee of my phone and after an hour of Jargon rep**** with my phone hold my warrantees of my phone. i asked him 10 times is it vodacom or samsung and he says My hone. Perhaps they can get someone who knows what they talking about t call me.
