Arrogance and incompetence from Samsung support Tygervalley

My Experience began when i visited Samsung support in Tygervalley to have my 1 free screen replacement on Note5 done, spoke to lady called Charmaine.

She requested my phones IMEI number to check warranty validity, after checking this she asked if i wanted to book phone in s they have no parts at the time. I rep**** we needed the phone if its possible they could order the part and i can bring it back for installation to which she rep**** yes I should call her back the following week as they are expecting covers then.

Note at this time I had 3 weeks left before my 1 year warranty expired, so i followed up the next week and was told parts have not arrived I had to call back the next week. After 2 weeks passed i went back to the store and Cahrmaine was not in store and another store clerk said that she now needed a proof of purchase...... this really upset me the fact that it is even required and only being told this 2 weeks later. Needless to say went back with phone contract document two days after and was told document is not accepted and the warranty had expired by person called J Jay.

I then lodged a complaint to the regional and store manager only to get a reply from the same *********** person called Jay Jay who refused to fix my phone cover under warranty, have not had any feedback from regional after receiveing a rediculous explanation from store why they refused to fix my device, some bullocks about Charmaine telling me that the warranty was about to expire and I had to book it in.

Only one question what person in theyre right mind would not book in a device for warranty repair if they knew it was about to expire?? Basically store personnel are covering theyre incompetence with rediculous claims

I would like to have someone sensible to look into the issue and also Samsung personnel to be trained in customer service and offcourse to get my device fixed as it should have been in the first place

Reviewer Update

I had reply below from a Samsung Executive member passing the buck to me in order to get out of taking responsibility for poor service, customers buy the Products with idea the Brand is behind the product but the brand turns around and tells the customer to follow up with theyre insurer to justify repairs when it was due to Samsung staffs incompetence that led to the issues reported in the first place. Who is ADH? I do not remember having any agreement or buying anything from them.

"Good Day

We have received your complaint through our call centre mailing channel and would like to advise accordingly. We do regret to inform you that due to ADH being a third party insurance company we will not be able to provide a free of charge repair on your device. Should you wish to motivate the claim with ADH kindly provide us with a letter from the store acknowledging that you had reported the issue with them within your ADH cover period for us to forward to ADH for you. This will need to be in the form of a Job card.

Kind Regards
