Appalling quality of Appliances

In 2010, I bought my parents a new microwave after their 23 year old National needed to be replaced. What a terrible mistake I made replacing it with a Samsung. The National, although 23 years old, still looked impeccable inside. The Samsung, however, after only SIX years, is in a shocking condition due to it peeling! Yes, peeling! What kind of manufacturers coat or paint a microvave with paint that peels? There is NO justification for a product to loom like this, EVER, let alone after 6 short years, unless it is utter *******. Please see the attached picture, it speaks for itself. Potential customers, be warned. This is what you will be left with if you puchase a Samsung! A disgrace, Samsung!

I have just received a call from Thabiso from Samsung. His attitude and response are so shocking that it would have been better if Samsung had not responded at all. Apparently it is my parent's fault that the microwave is peeling like it has been painted with cheap paint. This is due to, as I have just been repeatedly told "IMPROPER USAGE". Apparently my parents have used it too often to "BOIL SOUP OR WATER" or have used "HARSH CHEMICALS" to clean it. My parents use a kettle to boil water, and have only ever used this microwave to reheat food. If this is "IMPROPER USAGE", can Samsung please explain the purpose of their "MICROWAVES" if using them for reheating is "IMPROPER USAGE"??? If Sunlight liquid is now a "HARSH CHEMICAL", perhaps I need to take this up with them instead? I am shattered at Samsung's weak and poor response. Thabiso tells me Samsung will take NO responsibility for this as I cannot prove the product has not been used "IMPROPERLY". So potential buyers, be warned of the following: 1) Samsung products are of a poor quality. 2) Heating food in these decorative items amounts to "IMPROPER USAGE". 3) Sunlight liquid is too "HARSH A CHEMICAL" to clean the Mickey Mouse coating used in Samsung Microwaves. 4) The life-span of a Samsung Microwave, if you use it for more than a decoration and to heat food (this is "IMPROPER USAGE") is 5 years. 5) Samsung takes NO responsibility and their staff are obnoxious and insulting. DON'T TOUCH SAMSUNG. And finally, as I told Thabiso before I ended the call: If my parents are as thick and stupid as he imp**** that they don't know how to use a microwave, how did their National last 23 years? Not only is your product *******, but you insult the intelligence of customers too. My only stupidity was purchasing a Samsung product, Mr Thabiso!
