Any reason to decline a warranty

I have samsung galaxy z fold 3 which is 5 months old. My initial concern woth this phone was if the integrity of the screen would last. Well 5 months on and it pulling away amd making it unusable.

I went to Samsung g store in inanda and asked to please repair this under warranty. One look amd say sorry your warranty is void because there is damage on the phone.

The damage they refer to is a small chip on the back which has got absolutely nothing to do woth thi side screen yet Samsung hides behind a policy which will find any reason not to help its loyal customer out.

A customer came in woth a separate phone and had some other issue woth the charging port not working. And said exactly the same thing to him a tiny mark on the back amd they void the warranty.

This is the kind of service we get from Samsung. It is absolutely appalling that you can decline a warranty on a defective products because of a technicality. If the damage was related to the problem I understand but to ***** a customer over for that. Is unacceptable.

Your manager sold its fine complain to head office they will just ask me for a assessment report amd I'll decline it. To my face. Samsung you have lost a loyal customer amd I will inform everyone I know how terrible your aftermarket service is even under warranty.

Any excuse to shirk the liability. Shame on you amd your staff
