anti-samsung after this...

I am disgusted in the service received by Samsung, and the false advertising which is promoted on the internet. my 2yr old daughter had an oopsie in bed, she peed over the phone, the phone was not even submerged in the pee or lying in water and it messed up the motherboard of the phone completely. I took it in to Mtn Newton Park the following day. The consultant advised me to take it to the Samsung TT3 repair centre. When I got there they told me that it is going to cost R180 for assessment and to book it in. I've done that the same day. Is still a brand new Samsung A6, I did not take insurance out when I got the contract, I do realise that water damage is not covered by warranty. At no point in time did any of TT3's consultants tell me that the phone is supposed to be water resistant and that it can last up to 30 min in water, of which my phone was not even close to when the accident happened. They fixed the phone out of warranty, because the moment that there is a cash payment involved the phone is being fixed out of warranty. I done some research on the device after my phone started freezing after I got it back, and only then did I realise that the phone is supposed to be water resistant. I paid R2600+R180 in total for the phone. I spoke to a Desnay at Samsung TT3, explained what had happened, of which she asked me to send the documentation from the internet through to her. She reverted back to me, and said there is nothing they can do about it, and that the device is not water resistant etc, and it is not being advertised from Samsung SA. what I do not get is, isn't Samsung all over, and doesn't the same rule apply? I mean my device was not even that long in the water. my baby simply peed over it, as it is a habit to go to bed with the phone. the pee was absorbed by the matress, it's not as if it was lying in water for 30min as they advertise I, why did I have to pay that much money, weren't they supposed to fix it free of charge or access me another device, because what they advertise is not the truth. The lady told me that the device was advertised on a false website and not on Samsung's website, I went on the internet again and the same information popped up. Even the consultants at MTN said that the phone is supposed to be water resistant. Can you please look into this matter and advise
