All of Samsung's after sales channels are ineffective

Love the samsung product but do not buy a samsung TV in South Africa as your warranty will not help you, especially around Mbombela (Nelspruit) as they have no repair center here and their call centre and online portal has no usefulness at all. BEWARE all surroundings to Nelspruit, including SWAZILAND and MOZAMBIQUE who buy in Nelspruit - THERE IS NO AFTER SALES SUPPORT!! Here is my story:

I have a 58" UHD 4K Samsung Smart TV that whilst watching tv just went black and then keeps cycling on and off by its own without any response to my remote. I have surge protection for all my devices by the way. I went onto Samsung.com (the ZA portal) and logged the problem. Samsung was quick to contact me and inform that Nelspruit (Mbombela) has no repair center. They advised I send a mail to *** with Name & Surname/Contact Number/Address/Description of Issue/Model & Serial No/Copy of purchase Invoice attached, and to use the name Tiisetso in the subject field and gave me a reference of ***. I sent this mail on the 24th March 2022.

They called me back and then advised me to additionally send photos of the product back and front, and to get the purchase invoice stamped and signed by Makro and send it to *** with a new reference number ***, which i then did on the 01st April 2022 as they said that they were likely going to replace the unit as to repair the unit could only take place in Gauteng.

I heard NOTHING back at all (and I checked my junk mail and missed calls). On the 07th April, I called Samsung at ***4 and after a long while could not get any assistance after being passed pillar to post. I then went back onto Samsung.com on the 07th April and created a new ticket *** explaining my story and asking them to call me back. They closed that ticket and informed that my request was passed to the service tracking dept.

Once again I have heard nothing. I once again went onto Samung.com/za on the 19th April and chose the option to email the CEO. I once again explained the whole story. You get an automated email referencing that because the president announced a lockdown starting on the 26 March 2020 (2 years ago!!!), the response may be delayed (so this auto - response has not been updated in a while)...

I then got another mail from *** with a reference *** requesting ONCE AGAIN all the info I have already sent previously - name/surname; model; serial no; description of issue, etc .....Furthermore the mail does not advise where to send this info and the mail footer says not to reply to the mail from which you received this request to send the info... LOL!!!

I wonder how many people actually claim their Samsung TV's through their insurance because of the near impossible task of getting any after sales service from Samsung South Africa. If I get no joy through this hellopeter portal, I will begin to inquire through my network of brokers if this is the case and will take this further with the mainstream media - why should Insurance companies be paying for Samsung's lack of service when a product is still under warranty!!
