Samsung fridge filter

They sold me an expensive fridge with a filter and never mension that the filter will cost me R1000 every 6months. After i noticed that i went back to complain i needed an exchange of a different fridge without a filter. They told me they can't help me because i failed to read the manual. I feel they failed me as a customer. Please assist me in making them understand that i definitely need a fridge without the filter. Im not prepared to pay extra cost for that fridge every 6months.
