Can I be tuned into Samsung frequency
My husband bought a tv from the Samsung e store at the end of October. It was delivered mid November. By the 15th of December the tv had no visuals. We called Samsung they said technicians would come and have a look. Eventually they came. They were at my house for no more than 5 minutes, never once touched the tv. They took pictures. According to them, the tv could not be saved. A week later upon calling Samsung we were told that an order to replace had been granted. If they don't have stock they would issue a voucher. Two weeks later, upon us calling, they had changed their mind, not replacing anymore. Samsung will give you a turn around time which they so bravely ignore. Samsung will ignore you when they must respond. When you call them, they move you from pillar to post and never give a straight answer. I have sent numerous emails which never even so much as got an acknowledgement.
My main questions being: 1. Why are they so professional during the sales process and so horrible afterwards? 2. Is my R8500 not enough to warrant them to be courteous? 3. What kind of warranty and/or guarantee do they offer on their electronic devices? 4. Who can I contact at Samsung that will furnish me with answers? 5. Is this the kind of after sales handling that we should trust Samsung to offer?
All in all, I would like Samsung to give a full refund of the purchase price and for goodwill, perhaps compensate us for paying multichoice. We paid because we were told initially that the turn around time would be 7-14 working days. It has been December 15 to date. I'm not sure if we are on the same calender system.
