Samba Sol let down

Had a dealing with the South Africa Branch of this company. They approached me to manufacture rubber badges for them. We had samples made up from signed artwork and an order was sent via email. Once production was complete i sent the invoice and a notification that the goods were ready. There were lots of excuses and then silence for a while. Its been over a month now and i'm heavily out of pocket. I am a small business and need the cash flow. I got a response yesterday saying that due to unforeseen circumstances they cannot pay me. No mention of trying to pay anything back. I suggested a payment plan and no reply at all. My small business has been hurt by this. It's disgusting.
