The Salvation Army Benoni

To any person who has helped the salvation army in Benoni, Thank you for always thinking about others in dire need... HOWEVER! Not everyone AT the salvation army has the same heart, in fact a certain individual in MANAGEMENT is far from what the salvation army stands for...

The food given to the salv army from, Woolworths, pick n pay, the Vegitarium, other companies and Individuals does not get given to the people as asked (it gets taken home and divided between family and friends), the people who pay their way get worked to the bone (so much so, that some even have medical conditions now) while those who do not have employment, live a free and happy go lucky lifestyle while reaping other rather unfair benefits.

Never the less the amount of unfair and ******** actions taking place at the Salvation army that I Know of, breaks my heart. As I write this with tears in my eyes for the few poor people who live through this daily, I ask please before you donate ANYTHING to them that you do your homework on the MANAGEMENT and rather help the individuals in need as they are really the ones who suffer.

I have learnt the truth the hard way and I will no longer support the salvation army but rather the individuals who really need it and who are taking the necessary steps to better their circumstances.
