Salt Rock Hotel & Caravanpark not recomended

<p>Our recent stay over December at Salt Rock were sadly turned into a very unpleasant stay. by the resort's management. This was supposed to be our dream year end holiday. Management approach me with a account querry stating that there is a short payment on my side for the duration of stay. I responded and informed them that I do have payment transactions and a final statement from Salt Rock Hotel that the booking is paid in full before arrival and zero balance due. At the very same time when I discussed this matter with them, another concerned lady wanted to discuss her booking in which the dates of her stay were incorrectly captured by Salt Rock reservation desk. She was told to make sure that she must do a better job when she book accomodation and were asked to leave the office as she is wasting their time. I was shocked followed the lady and asked if she is ok. Then I returned to the management office and inform them that I will go and fetch my PC and show them my proof of final payment. I then asked my wife to handle this matter due to her better understanding of the account and she made the payment to Salt Rock Hotel. After the wife left to sort out this mess I realised my mistake as I have seen how rude they heve handled their guest and followed her to the management office. I was to late. When she arrived at the office to show them their mail adknowledge that the payment was made infull the management couple star screaming and shouting on top of their voice in such a way that my wife had to wipe their spit of her face. I emmediately stepped in and and told the male manager that I will not allow this behavior nor anybody to verbally abuse my wife. Then I was informed that they will have me removed from the premisses and my holiday at Salt Rock is over. I responded and say that should this be the case then we will settle this in court. Then the general manager (Dean) arrived and assisted in this matter. He informed me that the management coupled resigned and then asked for their job back which were not granted. That is probilly the reason for their behavior. The General Manager made them apollogise and and we were offered a free breakfast at the restuarant. I excepted how ever the stay at Salt Rock were not the same and the holiday were spoiled. Two months later I decide to contact Salt Rock Hotel to book accomodation for December 2017 as I was informed that aa new manager is employed. I was informed that my family is banned at the Hotel board of directors. Unbeleivable, unprofessional, no customer service. How can the board of directors of Salt Rock Hotel embarris clients in such a harsch way without talking to all parties involved. I am sad to say that Salt Rock Hotel and Caravanpark is not recommended at all. The Mangement of Salt Rock Hotel including their Board of Directors involved should seriously considder a co**** in hospitallity and customer service. SALT ROCK HOTEL & CARAVAN PARK NOT RECOMENDED ! !</p>
