Lack of professionalism

Job hunting is an exhausting job on its own and one would assume that recruitment agencies are meant to make this easier. But not with Salt.

I app**** for a position earlier this year which they had advertised for. After a couple of days an agent called me about three times asking for extra information for a portfolio they would send the client. And that was the last I heard from them.

A month went by and I had to InMail one of the agents who was a connection of mine on LinkedIn to inform them that I am still waiting for feedback. This was on top of numerous calls, emails and text messages to the agent who had reviewed my application.

Only then did I get feedback and they proceeded to try rectify their unprofessionalism by referring me to another job they claimed I qualified for.

Again the same procedure was followed with another agent and again the same result. Three or so months later I have not received any feedback and all my messages requesting feedback have been ignored.
