Horrible

Very bad experience! I went there for the first time trusting that this place knows what they are doing. And so got an acrylic nail set done with just a normal black French, this was on a Friday. The Saturday my topcoat and French was chipped off; it didn’t look bad at first, but as the days went on it became worse and worse! I then phoned them asking to speak to the owner and the only response I got was that the owner was busy. This went back and forth about 3 times, when I just lost it telling them I will see them in 5 min.

Having to drive there to resolve this was extremely frustrating and think it wouldn’t have been such a big hustle for the owner to quickly take the call to at least try and resolve the issue over the phone. On top of this when I arrived at the Salon the owner looked like she didn’t even know of my complaint nor the bad service I received on the phone just a few minutes earlier. I believe the nail tech probably didn’t inform her of the compliant or she was informed and did not deem in necessary to apologize for the poor service and poor-quality products that were used.

From the nail tech herself she proceeded to fix my nails and never once apologised for the inconvenience caused. I left the salon and saw only a few hours later that my nails started to chip once again. I proceeded this time to send them a WhatsApp informing them about the situation not being resolved and expressing my deep disappointment with the product and the service received. I also told them to cancel all my future appointments with them due to this. Unfortunately, they just read my message and did not even reply to my compliant, which is unacceptable.

My expectation as a customer when I leave a nail salon, is that I walk out with a great set of nails, especially when I paid R550+ for them. I also expect that I could wear the set of nails for a few weeks and not have them replaced or fixed days after them being done. Finally, when there is an issue that is raised especially multiple times, for it not to be treated as the elephant in the room, hoping by ignoring it, that it would go away; but rather to address the issue and especially apologize for the inconvenience caused.
