Salon Elan - perm

I went to this salon 30.06.2018 after making a appointment telephonically explaining that my hair has been bleached blond about three months earlier. The lady who does the perms sat me down she asked what I wanted to do with my hair.

I explained that I wanted a Dry Perm done - she said that she does not know what dry perm was ...YouTube and the internet is full of dry perming.But they do permanent waves - same thing really First she asked me if i knew how much this will cost (just to get this out of the way) I was immediately insulted but waited until she went and fetched the pricing pamphlet to show me and I already knew it was going to be about R710.

She further called a few of the girls who worked there to check if my hair could be permed - then one of the ladies said that my hair looks fine she insisted that she cannot do the perm my hair was too damaged etc. at this stage the whole salon was looking at us the way she carried on. She then asked one of the "shampoo girls" to wash my hair to see what condition it would be in when wet. So after my hair was wet she decided that she is definitely NOT doing the perm...which i can understand however I know a few things about my own hair And if I thought my hair couldn't take this chemical shock i would not have made the appointment in the first place.

PLEASE educate yourself a bit mote in all things perm????? As I was so upset because this woman kept on about how could the rest of my hair be so straight but the roots is a bit curly I must have relaxed my hair - WHO still relaxes hair ?I have in all my life NEVER relaxed my hair.I am not sure if this lady sees a colored person she automatically assumes that we relax our hair.

Bottom line I will NEVER go back there to be so humiliated - I also GOOGLED how other hair dressers do perms on people with bleach/color treated/damaged hair and they used a miracle called OLAPLEX with the perm.

If a amateur like me could search this with NO effort - what is wrong with the "professionals" at Salon Elan? Instead of telling me how you could not do what I asked and surely would gladly have paid for the service - find a solution so that you would be able to do it.

This would be the first Salon to tell me that they couldn't do something i asked - before this I wanted to go Blonde and another idiot lady at a "Upmarket salon" told me it couldn't be done - and I did it myself - and I get loads of compliments on how healthy my hair looks.
