Speedcross 4 - Extremely bad quality and service

I received a pair of Salomon Speedcross 4 shoes for Christmas 2018 priced at R1999. I have worn them for the past 5 months wearing them on average of 3 times a week for 5km. I live on a farm so only use them on gravel and sandy roads. I never run in the rain and they have never gotten wet.

Could you please explain to me why the material on the top tears has happened on this exact same place on both shoes? It has even torn at both shoes at the back. It also seems that this is a general issue with Salomons speedcross 4 as I read online reviews and feedback form other runners.

I would really like to receive feedback on this matter as soon as possible. I feel this is unacceptable quality for the price point the shoes are sold at. I have sent various emails as well as Facebook messages but have not received any feedback.

These shoes are extremely bad quality and the customer service and feedback is non existing.
