Salomon torn shoes and bad service

<p>Hi,</p> <p> </p> <p>I've recently tried to return a pair of salomon's to Due South store canal walk. When I purchased the shoes the salesman assured me I had a 2 year warrenty. When I tried to return the shoes the salesman said they only covered the first 6 months after which I would have to contact Salomon direct. I've sent and email to Salomon in this regard and cannot get anyone to acknolodge my issue. This is my second pair of Salomon's that have broken in this way and I'd like this pair replaced. I do purchase them for their longevity.</p>
