Lousy quality and definitely not worth the premium price.

SALOMON XA PRO 3D V8 GORE-TEX: These shoes suck! Mine were barely 14 months old when the Goretex upper cracked and tore along the folding crease. Salomon claims their shoes are "built to last" and charge a premium price to match, and yet they also claim my shoes are suffering "normal wear & tear" - after barely 14 months. Phooey! Their Customer Service is also terrible. Stay away from Salomon South Africa!
