I will never buy Salomon shoes ever again! Broke in a few months and they refused to honour their warranty! Customer service also useless

They do not honour their warranty claims on defective shoes. Shows broke in less than 6 months and they failed to acknowledge the defect on their product. Customer care was absolutely useless (Mlungisi Mazibuko was the only person I could ever chat to and was completely useless) and they said the defect was not a warranty claim. I then contacted the consumer complaints commission to lodge a complaint via the CPA and they told me they had to close the case as they were unable to contact Salomon (they were obviously avoiding the ombudsman because when I called them they said they would call me back and they didn’t even have my details and they called back less than 30 minutes later!)

It blows my mind how a company can charge so much for shoes and then not honour their warranty process and then give such disgusting care to their customers. I will never buy Salomon ever again
