breaking CPA

I Bought a pair of Salomon Wings Flyte 31 August 2015 and the sole has now bubbled and the inner has gone totally flat therefore providing no cushioning and the front is peeling off. I have been told there is nothing wrong with the shoes and that they will not replace them because they were bought for the incorrect use as they supposed to be hiking shoes and not to be worn daily but i wear them daily. The sales man was very well awre that i wanted shoes that can be worn daily and that will provide support as i fractured my knee cap that hasnt healed properly therefore the incorrect shoes cause tremendous pain and discomfort. I was told that nothing will be done about them even with the front of the shoe peeling off as that is \wear and tear"how can it be normal wear and tear if the fronts have never been kicked and the glue has come loose? Sorry but thats purely bad quality. Also how can I be punished because of the salesmans mess up. Especially considering he took out 3 pairs of shoes for me to choose from that would best suit me so i didnt even see what they had on the shelf but now i am the one suffering as the incorrect shoe was suggested to me.
