SALA Pension Heartless & Very Unprofessional

Im a mamber of South African Local Authority Pension Fund.

On the introduction by the national government of South Africa of the new pension fund regulations whereupon the 2 Pot system was established, I app**** for R25 000 on the 16th of September 2024 until today I never heard a word from my retirement scheme ( SALA).

I send an email on the 20th, 27th and again on the 30th to the attention of Shaakirah requesting to be updated on the progress of my application and I still have to hear from Shaakirah.

My concern is when I'm dead my nominated beneficiaries are going to go through the trauma of loosing me and of being send from pillar to post by this SALA.

I would like to move from this joke with immediate effect to the scheme that is having the best interests of its members at heart. Please advise on what steps or procedure to follow .
