RPL application and incorrect billings

I was registered late for my SAIPA traineeship and had to complete a RPL application in order to get the back date for my commencement of traineeship.<br> <br> CJ van Heerden<br> SAIPA number: 33520<br> <br> The reasons I am so unhappy with SAIPA is the lack of service I have received from SAIPA.<br> <br> Firstly I waited almost a year for my RPL application to be finalized.<br> <br> In that time I decided to move over from SAIPA to SAICA for traineeship.<br> <br> Effective from 1st of October 2014 I was a SAICA trainee and my last official day as a SAIPA trainee was 30 September 2014.<br> <br> I could not cancel my registration at SAIPA because they took so long to finalize the RPL application and I needed to be an active member while this application was still in progress. Once the application was finally resolved and I had the correct commencement date on my contract I wanted to cancel my registration with SAIPA.<br> <br> Now SAIPA hold me responsible for 2015 membership fees and don't want to deregister me unless I first pay this outstanding amounts on my account. The person that handled my RPL application was Delouise de Wet and I communicated with her via over the phone and emails. This is unacceptable!<br> <br> Please advise
