Had an unpleasant and unnecessarily aggressive experience

Had an unpleasant and unnecessarily aggressive experience at Saints Animal Charity Shop today. I love popping into charity shops and I often find little gems in the clothing section. I have been to Saints Animal Charity Shop a number of times before and they had a little curtained off section with a mirror, where you could see if things fitted before buying. Today I chose a selection of shirts and 4 trousers and was then told that there was no fitting room anymore, but that I could go to the loo outside, provided I leave my handbag at the till (what??) My hubby was with me, so I joked and said he would be my collateral. I got to the loo only to find there was no mirror. When I got back into the shop, I told the cashier that there was no point in sending people to the loo, as there was no mirror and that I would not be taking any of the items, as I was unable to see if they fitted or not. She then tried to thrust the items into my hands and told me to “hang them up”. Initially I said yes, but on looking around the shop and seeing how many shop assistants there were, I said No. She then yelled to someone in the shop, that I was refusing to hang up the clothes that I was not taking. He stormed over and shouted at me, that I was now banned from their shop. As I was driving out, he ran out and took a photo of my car registration and yelled at me to never come back.

I never will.
