SAINSBURY EXOTIC CARS: UNFAIR DEALING

This company advertised a Volvo S40. I responded and since I am in Jhb needed to get the car checked. I was told the car was booked for 2 June 2021, for a service. I thought that the check and service could be combined. On speaking to the service agents I discovered car was booked in for the following week, 8 June. When I raised this, I was told that "staff" are unreliable. I had not been informed of this odd alteration. It was understood I was awaiting this check. I also checked on the last stamps in service book and the said dealer had no record of the car visiting them. When I contacted dealer on 4 June 2021 to query this, I was told they had sold the car and "first come first serve" and I should have paid a deposit. At NO point was this suggested previously. And I was "first." So BEWARE: What we have is the usual used car dealer: dishonest, *************, unreliable. Pleasant enough until they let you down. Then rude and uninterested.
