SAHUC does not assist when really in need.

The South African Hadj and Umrah Council has established itself as a regulator of the Hadj and Umrah pilgramage. As pilgrims we pay them a service fee to assist with all issues we experience especially with travel operators. They charge a fee of r1500 a person for which they do very very little. As a result of Corona my trip was cancelled not by me but by the Saudis. SAHUC does not assist in getting refunds from the travel operators. Instead they simply refund you the R1500 and you left on your own. a two line email that you must take it up with the operator is all they do. What is the point of their existence then? What exactly do they then do?
