Hi Nilesh While I have sympathy over your situation, I have no control over the SAQA process. My information is that SAQA has been the subject of drastic government budget cuts. The SAHITA training is widely recognized at the best available, the course content aligns with the QCTO approved curriculum for Building inspector and was made available to you in good faith and with no guarantee. A refund is not available. John Graham

Well thank you for your sympathy, I will definitely be taking this further,I did approach you in good faith and it seems it was for naught, you definitely benefitted and only offer sympathy, yet initially you sounded differently. Best in what way? Recognized by whom? The truth is that, the excuses were different the last time about saqa, now it's budget cuts. There is insufficient marketing on the expertise and definitely the need for it is invisible. You cannot give me back my funds for something that was basically made available to me to comprehend,sold with false words and now has no solid foundation. In my opinion this is a **** of sorts. Yes it's nice to offer sympathy when you're comfortable and eating well. You benefit ,say sorry n goodluck? Wow. FIRST IT WAS COVID,THEN SOME MEETINGS AND NOW ITS BUDGET CUTS. I WAS BLOCKED AFTER THIS CONVERSATION.

SAHITA was part of the QCTO task team (with experts from various municipalities, the NHBRC, NRCS, the Bank Association of SA and other) which over two years developed a curriculum for a national building inspector qualification at NQF levels 4, 5 & 6. The curriculum was approved by the QCTO board in 2018 and submitted to SAQA for accreditation. Since then, for unknown reasons, the SAQA access process has stalled.
SAHITA online building and home inspector training is aligned with the QCTO approved curriculum.
SAHITA has graduated several hundred people and its certification for its online training and its building inspector workshops have been endorsed by among others, a major SA bank, insurers, various municipalities and State entities, who have paid for their employees to be trained by SAHITA and ECSA and SAAMA (SAHITA workshops).
SAHITA is easily the best South African building and home inspector training available to South Africans.
