The IT manager at Sage should immediately fire himself/herself and the entire IT department for the clown show that is going on there at the moment. Every time you update Sage online business accounting your system is down for the next 2-5 days while you try and fix your stuff up. WHY HAVE YOU NOT ROLLED BACK THIS LATEST CHANGE? Why don't you have adequate change control? Why do you not have a rollback plan for each production migration? Do you test your code? Do you even have a QA environment? Your testers are a bunch of clowns. You should be embarrassed to call yourself developers. You have impacted my business (and countless others) with your amateur's software development skills. You should hang your heads in shame. blaming other third parties is not acceptable - you should have service level agreements in place that guarantee uptime of your system, You are 100% accountable for not managing your agreements with those third parties.
