The Pervasive Problem

Sage Pastel Partner... A good product that works well, or at least, as well as it's SQL software chooses to work. The downside to a good product, is the constant error presented by this SQL software. It becomes present at the slightest network instability, and correcting the issue is as user friendly as trying to bath a cat.

This software, called Pervasive SQL, is quite unstable and hinders productivity. The very definition of Pervasive (adjective: pervasive (especially of an unwelcome influence or physical effect) spreading widely throughout an area or a group of people. "Ageism is pervasive and entrenched in our society"), speaks volumes as to how this software has left an unwelcome and sour taste in my mouth. Considering the fees and annual renewal fees, one would hope that a problem as persistent as this would be taken care of, or at least looked into, instead of just having a troubleshooting manual as long as the Nile that vaguely explains how-to correct the problem you have.

After a lengthy struggle, the problem is solved, for the 28th time in as many months. As good as Sage Pastel Partner is, it's Pervasive SQL needs to be replaced with something less, well pervasive.
