Sage unauthorised debit order!

REF: IT SA COMP ********** 1 SAGEPAY SERV FEE ********** 942

On the 25th of August 2016 I signed a debit order for IT Academy to the amount of R291,25 for a 12 month period. From the begining I had issues with this, which was why I didnt want to sign a debit order in the first place. All this does is simply give companies the power to simply do what they want and take money from our accounts as they see fit. NOT once did my debit order go off on the date that I signed for and on MANY occasions spoke to IT Academy about. Debit orders was requested by Sage before the agreed date every month before I had money in the account. This reflects very bad on my credit score. So I had to fight with IT Academy every month. I ended up making monthly payments to IT Academy via EFT and cash deposits. I paid my installment every month and have paid IT Academy in FULL!!! Also, my studies has been completed for more than a year now. BUT 2 nights ago, 2 July 2018, imagine my complete shock when suddenly Sage (IT Academy) takes yet another installment from my account!!!! More than a year since i finished at IT Academy!!!! So, who the hell gives Sage the permission to just take money out of my account?!!! From how many people do you ***** like this every month? This is totaly absurd! I will spread this as far and wide as I can because this is unexceptable!!! This unauthorised debit from my account better get reversed immediately and the debit order canceled!!! I dont owe Sage or IT Academy anything and the 12 month period I signed the debit order for is long gone. Stop *****ing from us as it's already hard enough in this country as it is.

You don't even have to contact me, just put my money back into my account.

Good Day

We will be happy to assist you to clarify the situation.

We process debit orders on behalf of other companies and the following has possibly occurred:

You entered into a contractual arrangement with another company.
The contract includes a regular payment via debit order.
The company uses Sage Pay to facilitate the payment.
As a result, the debit on your account reflects Sage Pay rather than the name of the company you contracted.

In particular, we can provide you with the name of the company that is debiting your account. You will then need to contact the company directly.

To resolve the following query we would need you to provide us with the 8 digit reference number, you will find it before/after the word Sage Pay on your bank statement or you may provide us with your bank account number.

Thank you for highlighting your complaint with Sage Pay.

We endeavor to resolve your query with the utmost urgency.

Kind Regards,

Claire Small
