Sage future in Africa - Can’t grow with them!
We are a business in South Africa & have been growing to different parts of SADC, but Sage will not allow us to make use of their software in countries like Zimbabwe & yet Zimbabwe is one of SA’s biggest trading partner in SADC, our business is at risk due to their unthinkable policy ;
If you are expanding your business beyond South Africa rather look at other systems heavily investing in Sage is a risk. Not even sure when they will pull the plug on SA, this is a risk the way they treat customers is shocking!

As a business that operates across the globe, Sage needs to ensure that we comply with sanctions regimes operating around the world as well as local sanctions requirements within all territories where we have operations. As a consequence, there are certain countries, individuals or entities that Sage does not do business with and certain countries in which we do not do any new business. It forms part of the legal requirement to comply with sanctions laws and Sage’s commitment to do the right thing.
