Sage Broken for 9 days and counting....

I've used Sage Business Cloud Accounting for about 3 years now, and mostly its been decent. However on Sunday 17 January they did an update... and things went very very wrong. For the most part (with a few exceptions) during business hours we where not able to invoice, quote, cost, pull statements or do much else. Sage tried to downplay this saying that customers could do most things when in fact we where completely dead in the water. Without being able to quote or invoice, ever day we lost thousands of rands... Every day there where more excuses and more problems. Today 9 days later sage is still not 100%.... thankfully a user posted a "hack" that by disabling bank feeds some basic functionality was restored on day 9.... this came from a user and not even from Sage. When 100's of users posted their frustrations on facebook, some of their comments where deleted by Sage which to me is totally unacceptable.

Reviewer Update
Thanks for your reply no matter how ill considered.... however....

1. Pieter Bensch's statement which was released this morning already comes 8 days to late and tells us nothing new. At the time we where still totally *****ed because sage wasn't working properly. Its a bit better now after the "bank feeds hack" - that sage didn't even come up with - a user did.

2. Sage Deleting peoples comments is crazy. You guys did the crime. Now do the time. And we don't care about anything except being back up and running... no lame excuses. just fix it. Don't make us so angry that have to take to hellopeter where all our comments can live forever. Undertaking to not delete any more of our comments would be the first step.

3. If you had genuinely wanted to help us you could have given us a way to do quotes and invoices at bare minimum... .even if its a lame word template, looking like our old invoices... anything is better than nothing right now as we can't invoice, quote, do statements etc at the moment. Thankfully a user figured out a work around. no thanks to you.

4. Give us clear goalposts.... without cer*****y as to when we'll be able to work we can't communicate the challenges you've caused us to our customers... because we are being nagged for invoices, quotes, statements etc... and telling our clients "sage is still down" is was getting old last week... but this week its just plan ridiculous and its not going to fly.

5. Give us some kind of gesture of good faith.... we are loosing money. we are loosing clients.... Are you going to put some skin in the game? What are you going do to make it up to us.... are you giving us a year's free subscription if we stay? how are you going to share in the pain that you've caused us so we feel like you actually REALLY care rather than just spinning us PR bull....

Come on guys.... nothing other than being honest, human, and real is good enough for us right now... Man up, take responsibility for your mistakes... and fix them.
