Sage Accounting package generates bank access alerts indistinguishable from ***** attempts

Sage changed their accounting software last year to integrate updating from linked bank accounts.

Would be great if every time the update process occurs you didn't get an alert from your bank which is indistinguishable from one you would receive if someone was **********ly accessing your account which is why the bank alerts you in the first place.

Alerts come through from just after 05h00 in the morning until after 22h00 at night - even over weekends.

Contacted them telephonically and by email last year and they didn't seem that interested in resolving the matter, indicating the only workaround is to unlink your accounts from the expensive package.

On Sunday I received and indication of an OTP generated by the bank which may or may not be related to activity by Sage so now I have no option but to delink as the bank will take no responsibility if I fail to act when advised of unknown activity on the account.
