Sacrilege by banks in South Africa
Hi All
It is very clear that our banks know this type of transactions because banks also benefit from rip-off. For every transaction that goes my account FNB changes a fee. A R59 debit order bounced on my FNB cheque account then FNB charged me R120. I do not have any agreement with Sagepay I don’t even who are they and service do render. On top of all all banks benefit again if you reverse a debit order of this nature. We are continually being dragged to poverty by our own Banks. This has to stop. To hell with all the banks giving out our information for them to loot out money.

We will be happy to assist you to clarify the situation.
We process debit orders on behalf of other companies and the following has possibly occurred:
- You entered into a contractual arrangement with another company.
- The contract includes a regular payment via debit order.
- The company uses Sage Pay to facilitate the payment.
- As a result, the debit on your account reflects Sage Pay rather than the name of the company you contracted.
In particular, we can provide you with the name of the company that is debiting your account. You will then need to contact the company directly.
To resolve the following query we would need you to provide us with the 8 digit reference number, you will find it before/after the word Sage Pay on your bank statement.
Thank you for highlighting your complaint with Sage Pay.
We endeavor to resolve your query with the utmost urgency.
Kind Regards,
