***** inside SAGE PASTEL

We joined Sage Pastel Payroll in 2017 to improve our Payroll administration. For 1 year it went great and after the year was over we received an email with a renewal invoice from Sage Pastel. Since this is the first time that we renewed the license and the email came form the registered company we paid the Annual renewal fee as per the invoice received. Two months down the line and after proving to Sage that we received the email and invoice from them with the proof of payment to the Ned-bank Account on the Invoice. According to Sage Pastel is this ***** and we need to resolve this matter yourself. We asked to please open the system so that we can pay our staff and UIF, SARS etc..... The answer came back from their legal department that we need to pay this annual fee again if we want to open the system. Sage Pastel has a security breach in the company as the correct and incorrect invoice is identically the same with only the bank account number that is different. This means that our client information is now in the public domain. Sage is not prepared to assist in investigating the matter or to respect their clients for making the payment and give them time for the bank and the SAP to investigate the matter. Our company is now standing still and we cannot do anything without access to the program. I really hope this message get the correct attention so that other companies are not caught by this ***** that comes from in SAGE PASTEL. Please make sure that you verify each invoice received from them as they take no responsibility for their company and employees.
