The move from Hell

<p>First I asked for my furniture to be moved by the end of June but instead was placed on a truck for the end of July. Then they refused to give me an ETA so I could not prepare anything ahead of time and thus had to drive down to Plett myself to be at the house there the entire day no one informing me of the time they will be there.</p> <p>The truck arrived after 18h00 in the evening. When I told them that they are not allowed into the estate where my furniture is kept I was told to arrange for a bakkie to collect my furniture and drive it out to them because they are not going to over night and wait to collect my furniture. </p> <p> </p> <p> I paid for my furniture to be wrapped nothing was wrapped. I was told they will ensure that it is covered with blankets in the truck - no wrapping as we were running out of daylight and they were in a hurry.</p> <p> </p> <p>My solid Teak Coffee table is cracked my Emboya standing Mirror is damaged beyond recognintion, not one piece of wooden furniture came off that trauck in the same condition it was loaded. While off loading Furniture was litteraly dumped in a room in the house I am now occupying</p>
