Wont pay out

After 11 years claim free, I made my first claim and was told that they will only pay out 36% of the claim because its computer equipment.... Yes in 2019 (the age of information) Safire have a hidden term where they will only pay out R22 000 for computer equipment in your house. This is also seen as separate insurance from your household insurance. They have been happy to take my money for the last 11 years but as soon as i need them the most, they spit in my face and kick me while I'm down.

To add further insult, they have stated they will pay me out the 22k as long as they can take away the 60k worth of equipment that was damaged.

This isn't 1987 anymore, Most people invest a large amount in electronics and pc equipment. Turning these items into "special" items is completely uncalled for and *****ing long time loyal customers is out of the question.

I will, however, fight this and make sure that EVERYONE is aware of how you treat your clients and how your outdated policies are completely unsuitable to anyone using a computer.
