Unpaid Claim

on the 31/07/2015, I was parked at the Home Centre parking.Mr Nichol was parked next to me had opened his door onto my vehicle as he exited his van resulting in damage to my car. It was very windy and Mr Howard was negligent as his door flung open unto my car. Mr Nichol was apologetic and stated that his insurance company would pay for the damage caused by himself. A claim was lodged with Pereez Intermediaries. After numerous follow ups they have requested that I get 3 quotes which I have done. they have delayed this claim for over a month and a half. Finally they requested my bank details etc. I was then told to liaise with the claims administrator SAFIRE who has come back to me stating that they are not honouring the claim as it was no fault of their client, I queried this and they state that they will stand by their decision. My question to him was who is liable for the damage. His response was that it was the winds fault which really ****ed me off. They have wasted my time and energy and prolonged the claim only with this result. Now I have to claim from my insurance and lose my NCB of 15yrs and pay an excess. My only recourse is to incur legal fees to pursue this further
