Safire Insurance not the best option for insurance.

I thought I had a great insurance with everything covered for almost 20 years as a client, to my surprise when I claimed for a lost item, the excuse after excuse come. Rejecting a claim because item is lost and not damaged, after my phone call to get this reviewed the answer was not every item can be covered on the policy? Why do you pay a premium then for insurance.
