***** Car seat

Bought a Safeway Babies Car Seat at the Cape Town Mama Magic Baby Expo in October 2017. This was on the recommendation of the Safeway Babies Agent at the expo on the day. On that day, the Safeway agent advised us against the Isofix seat, saying that the seat was not worth it and we will be better off with the normal baby seat that fastens with the seat belt and can be used in any car. The seat was placed in my wife's car and not removed accept for two occassions to adjust the straps. The last occassion on reinstalling the seat everything was fine, however about a week later we noticed that the seat was loose after my wife had to do an emergency stop to prevent an accident. After close inspection we noticed that the red seatbelt clip broke that keeps the seatbelt from moving, thus the seat is no longer secure and in an emergency situation the seat moves. So my child is not safe in the car. The little piece of plastic between the 2 belt clips also broke off. Now it is a major issue to try and keep the 2 belts together to fasten my busy toddler into the c****at. I would have understood if these things would have broken if the car was standing outside in the sun all day, but this is far from that. I sent a mail 3 weeks ago to the safeway site, kindly asking if anyone can advise me if I was able to buy the seatbelt clip somewhere and whether this was the quality of their product, but they did not even have the common decentcy to acknowledge the receipt of my email. I sent another email a week ago, but still no response. Cannot believe that a major company such as Safeway Babies does not even have any decency to respond to a kind request. I should have bought another brand of seat at the expo!!!!!!
