Unprofessional: I strongly advise against doing business with Safety Angel

Unprofessional: I would strongly advise against doing business with Safety Angel, as my experience with them has been fraught with frustration. All of my telephonic dealings with a man named Clinton. I paid for products (two watches) on the 3rd of October 2016 that should have been delivered on the 6th of October 2016, as he assured me that they held sufficient stock – this was a prerequisite for me placing the order. When the order wasn’t received on the 6th of October and I made enquiries about the delay, Clinton said it would be dispatched on the 7th of October. By the 10th of October the status of my order was recorded as “processing”, and notwithstanding the fact that I provided Rica documents on the 3rd of October, they recorded it as “outstanding” as well. Numerous unanswered messages were left for Clinton to return my calls. On the 13th of October I managed to speak to him, and he said that they were awaiting delivery of a “new generation watch”, and that the business would receive stock on the 14th of October. Due to Safety Angels’ constant excuses and dishonoured undertakings, I cancelled the order on the 13th of October as their conduct was ominous of what their after-sales support would be like. It took them an inordinate amount of time to process my refund – more than three weeks (cancelled on 13/10/2016 and refunded on the 07/11/2016), due to their “refunds policy”. This was particularly upsetting as they sat with my money whilst knowing that they could not deliver as promised. I kept a detailed chain of events of all my interactions with this company.
