Rusting Kettle

I purchased a Safegas kettle over a year ago (it must be somewhere between 1-2 years old, but has hardly been used), and although the plastic lid didn't melt (unlike the Safegas kettle I purchased a few months ago), the kettle is now RUSTING!!! Clearly the base is made out of IRON! *WHO* makes a container for water made out iron!?????? What kind of stupidity or **** artistry exactly are we talking about in doing that?

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, they sell JUNK and they don't care; they just want your money and DON'T care what they provide you with in return.
