We've made use of Safe Car OR Thambo Airport on 25 December 2020. When we gave in the car they do a check… OR Thambo Airport, Johannesburg, South Africa. When we gave in the car they do a check on the car and sign on the receipt that your car is all in order and you as the customer tell them if their is any damages on the car where they draw it on the car pictures as confirmation. We had no damages or anything to report because our car is in tip top condtion and they confirmed it. When we came back from our holiday and flight on 1 January 2021 and got the car they gave it at the lower level of the airport where it is dark. The operator only got quickly out of the car took our money and run. She did no checking with us to confirm if the car is given back in the same condition as what we gave it in. We were tired of the flight and had to walk up and down in the airport to find a exit and to find where they were. For a full hour were walked to find a exit. That is why it we never reliase to ask her why she's not doing the car check with us. And as we pulled away in the light it was like a bang in our face the horizontical windscreen crack in the middel. We stopped immediately and called the number on the receipt. It was the lady who gave the car to us. We explained the damage to the car and she argued a half an hour with us that the crack was there before. We gave the car in like that. The more we tell her it was in tip top condition with no cracks and the operator who was a man who received the car and he confirmed it with no cracks or else he would have made a note and draw it on the car picture. The more she is not listening to us and just go on and on that the crack was there. It's a losing battle. It would have been better for us to rather not make use of them if we have just knew. It's going to cost us a fortune to repair it. The Lady's name that we spoke to on 1 January 2021 was Sylvia. She denied everything.
