Safe Solutions - max profit more important than client satisfaction

I have a Dace gate motor, bought from & installed by Safe Solutions (Francois Bezuidenhout). On 1 Dec’23 it stopped working. Messaged Francois ***ner). He sent a tech that afternoon. Verdict: PC board needs replacement. Had to wait for stock. Told me the motor is at the end of its life cycle (it is only 7 yrs old), but better to replace with new motor. I asked for 2 quotes: PC board replacement as well as new motor. Only received 1 quote for new motor. He ignored requests (14 Dec & 8 Jan) for PC board replacement quote. He was going to force me to replace with new. On 19 Jan I contacted Dace for referral to tech in area who does Dace, as long as it is not Safe Solutions. They rep**** back immediately. I contacted the other company. They made an appointment for next morning, checked PC board. Took it out and had 1 burned component on same PC board replaced. Gate was working 2 days later. Assured me that motor was NOT at end of lifecycle at all. Told me the oldest motor they knew of was still working after almost 30 yrs.
