Not honoring quoted price (false advertising)

Sasfarinow.com advertises false prices and even have their clients pay these false rates. Then you get contacted by the establishment to inform you that your reservation is not valid. I requested a quote from 33 Capri Amanzimtoti via Safarinow.com as the online quote was for R500/n in peak season (even took a photo of the online quote, as same websites do deny advertising in this way). When I received the quote from 33 Capri it was for R1195/n. I then rep**** to 33 Capri and Safarinow.com and asked why the rate is so much higher then the online quote and also attached the photo I took. I received a reply from 33 Capri (via Sasfarinow.com) with text stating that the rate is R1195/n and that Safarinow.com has not updated the rates, but a quote attached for R2015 for 4 nights stay. I paid the R2015 as per the quote (which had be to altered by either 33 Capri or Safarinow.com) and also made other bookings at another establishment to extend my holiday stay. The following day I receive emails confirming that payments to all establishments where received. 6 days later I get contacted by the owner of 33 Capri telling me that there was some confusion and that I would not be able to stay at 33 Capri as I did not pay the correct amount. After sending a few emails to him showing the altered quote and the photo etc, he says that Safarinow.com had automatically reduced the quote based on the messages being send between us via them. So now I cannot stay at 33 Capri but my other booking are already in place. What kind of booking agency changes the prices on behalf of their clients without confirmation first??? Now Safarinow.com simply wants to refund me or I need to stay somewhere else (which they cannot find thus far) or I must pay more then I can afford. If they altered the price on behalf of their client and I paid them what they quoted, should they not be responsible to cover the outstanding amount, instead of trying to force me into another establishment?

Hi Thank you for the reply, although it does not really indicate that the situation will be resolved. I have received emails from safarinow.com assuring me that they will find me other accommodation for the same rate with the same facilities and luxuries as 33 Capri. But if such accommodation is available I am sure that you would have found it by now? Ironically while I am typing this message your add for 33 Capri is right next to my text, still for R500/n , and if I click on it, and go to the dates I wanted to book, it is now changed to R950/n. Which is strange as the owner clearly told me that the rate is R1195/n. So your rates are still not accurate. Sad part is that this issue is not even resolved yet, but the dates which I paid for are already available again. Regards
