FILTHY accommodation -ALMOST R15000!!!!

<p>SAFARINOW.COM DISAPPOINTED ME AND MUCH WORSE, SPOILED MY HOLIDAY WITH MY FAMILY</p> <p>With no choice as all other accommodation were fully booked during the time I took my family on holiday, my family had to endure a HOLIDAY NIGHTMARE for 5 days at Point Waterfront, Quayside Apartments booked through Safarinow at a very expensive rate, considering what we got! Brace yourself for the graphic details below, and yes I still have the pictures to prove each and every point below:<br />1. Overall hygiene and cleanliness of the unit pathetic - plain filthy (dirt and grime in shower, bedroom cupboards, kitchen and passage walls - MUST BE DEEP CLEANED OR DISEASES MAY BREW)<br />2. ****roaches in cupboard and toaster - this is a serious concern and I have a phobia for these things<br />3. Fumigation of the ****roaches took place while we were in the unit with kids after reporting the ****roach problems<br />4. Stinking bathroom basin - looks like a rotten tooth in the basin (picture taken and zoomed in). The smell was unbearable<br />5. Door of tumble dryer broken - we we sceptical to use it as we could possibly be blamed for it<br />6. Dirty carpet in main bedroom - this is just not on, we never walked bare feet on that carpet<br />7. Wood panel of the oven cupboard was loose and fell off - a danger risk for kids</p> <p> </p> <p>There were no in- or out-inspection done, we waited 1.5hrs (from check-in at 14h00) for the unit to be cleaned / or not???, we couldhardly use the pool on the premises as there were always people there, and it is just a splashpool. Argghhhh, I just hated the experience and hope no one else goes through that ever, while it should've been a memorable experience with my Family (we haven't gone on holiday for 4 years), it was a NIGHTMARE! (I am not exaggerating, contact me for photos - gruesome!!!!) I am still frustrated - it just feels like I did not have a December / January break and this feeling just won't leave me - very disappointed after spending almost R15000! You pay because you want to avoid ****roaches and grime, but surprise surprise, Safarinow.com together with Point Waterfront Accommodation (Quayside apartments) made sure you don't miss out!</p>
