FALSE ADVERTISING

I trusted Safarinow when I booked our vacation in Langebaan; when booking they asked if I had a smart shopper ( Pick n Pay ) card I did and they informed me that they will load the card with the value as per booking payment. I thought this was wonderful and agreed; on our holiday I called them and asked when would they load the card; I was informed that upon checking out 2-3 working days; no problem that was great. Its been 5 working days now and I decided to give them a call; now I am told when I booked the holiday the deal was available but is discontinued now. There was no attempt to offer something else and plain and simple just no cant help; why did the person who I called first explain this to me; instead I was given more false information.

My advice to people wanting to go on holiday; the destination that you see on the site; then book directly from owners as this will work out much cheaper and avoid all these empty promises Safarinow makes to their clients.

Hi Craig

Thank you for your feedback, we tried to call you this afternoon but were unable to get through. We note that you redeemed a voucher on this booking as well as entered your Smartshopper card.
Our voucher terms stipulate that Vouchers may not be used in conjunction with any other reward, voucher or discount.
https://www.safarinow.com/cms/voucher-terms-and-conditions/irie.aspx
As the voucher of R100 was redeemed first, the Smartshopper points (R74.95) that you would have earned were not credited.
The program has indeed been discontinued however any customer that we had awarded the Smartshopper points prior to the program being stopped would have earned them.
We look forward to your response.
